Section 2: What are cookies?
In using www.viosmart.co.uk (the “Platform”), you will provide certain personal information to Viosmart and certain information about you will be collected by “cookies”.
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the Platform and to compile statistical reports on website activity. Section 4: Why do we use cookies?
Cookies are essential for the proper function of our Platform and services. Cookies need to be enabled in order for you to access your account. Therefore, if cookies are blocked or disabled, you will not be able to log in or access your account.
Cookies are used by our partner retailers and intermediaries (such as technology providers, marketing agencies and affiliate networks) to track that you visited them via the Platform as well as any subsequent transactions. Therefore, if cookies are blocked or disabled, then this may prevent donations being raised by your shopping online with retailers listed on our Platform and passed to the Viosmart Box For Good Foundation.
Section 5: Web log information
Web log information is gathered when you visit our Platform by the computer that hosts our Platform (called a “server”). The server automatically recognises some information, such as the date and time you visited our Platform, the pages you visited, crashes, the website you came from, the type of browser you are using (e.g. Google Chrome), the type of operating system you are using, and location data. In some instances, these cookies may be persistent cookies. We do this to provide you with advertising that we believe may be relevant for you.
